2018 Petit Verdot Oak Knoll District

The 2018 Petit Verdot is strong wine with a welcoming nose displaying rose petals, red plum, blackberry and subtle notes of green bell pepper with developing undertones of clove and nutmeg. On the palate this wine is full and round coating the entire palate with soft and easy tannins that are perfectly balanced by a burst of acidity reminiscent the feeling one gets from eating sour cherries. The finish is long leaving one’s mouth feeling the warmth of baking spices.
